Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about installment loans and how RapidLend works.
RapidLend Installment Loans is a free online loan-matching service. You complete one 3-minute secure form, we connect your request with lenders in our network, and if a lender makes an offer, you review it with no obligation. Accept, e-sign, and receive funds directly to your bank — often next business day.
Installment loans let you repay over multiple scheduled payments (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) instead of one lump sum on your next payday. This can be more manageable for your budget. Your lender will provide a complete repayment schedule before you sign.
No. RapidLend Installment Loans is NOT a lender. We are a lead generation and marketing service connecting consumers with independent licensed lenders. We do not make credit decisions, issue loans, set interest rates, or collect payments.
Our lenders offer installment loans from $100 to $1,500. Loan amounts depend on your state of residence, income, and the lender's criteria. Some states have maximum loan amount limits set by law.
Not necessarily. Many lenders in our network work with consumers who have poor or limited credit histories. Lenders often evaluate your current income and ability to repay, not just your credit score.
If approved and you accept an offer, funds are typically deposited via ACH by the next business day. Weekend and holiday applications are processed the next business day.
RapidLend does not set rates or fees — those are determined by each lender. Installment loans typically carry APRs of 200%–750%+. Your lender must disclose the full cost of credit before you sign. Review all terms carefully.
Our service is NOT available to North Carolina residents. Availability varies by state. Your eligibility is determined at the time of your application based on your state of residence.
Yes. All data is protected with 256-bit SSL encryption. Information is shared only with lenders in our network. We never sell full SSNs or bank account numbers to unauthorized parties.
Some lenders in our network report on-time payments to credit bureaus, which may help improve your credit score over time. Check with your specific lender to confirm their credit reporting practices.
No. Applying through RapidLend is completely free with zero obligation. You can review any offer and decline without penalty. You are never required to accept any loan offer.
You have rights under: (1) Truth in Lending Act — full cost disclosure before signing, (2) Equal Credit Opportunity Act — no discrimination, (3) Military Lending Act — 36% MAPR cap for service members, (4) California residents may rescind within one business day.
